It takes more than some fuzzy, colorful padding to be a mascot. It takes guts, stamina, spirit, AND fuzzy, colorful padding. Put your mascot skills to the test in this VR gauntlet to become VorTex, Concordia University Texas’ favorite purple tornado. Or are you too chicken? Cause we don’t have a chicken mascot trainer. Concordia University Texas has a lot to be proud of––their history, their traditions, their beloved mascot, VorTex the Tornado––but perhaps most of all, they’re proud of their campus. As well they should be––it’s nestled right in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. What they wanted was an experience that somehow combined all that Concordia pride into one nice, neat package to take around to college fairs. Also, they wanted it to be fun. Meet Virtual VorTex, a VR mascot trainer. After first learning a little bit about the university & seeing the campus, players are informed that the student who had lovingly played VorTex previously has just graduated and that an urgent search was on to fill those giant, cartoonish shoes. So what do you say? Are you ready to take the world by storm?
